Sea Isle City helped  stomp cancer at the second annual SIC Stomps Cancer 5k Run and Family Walk benefiting Bringing Hope Home. The run started at JFK and the Promenade and ended at LaCosta, where runners and walkers were given complimentary breakfast,  drink specials, and awesome raffle prizes. With over 500 participants, the event has grown tremendously, and will only get bigger!

Bringing Hope Home is an incredible organization that helps families affected by cancer with mortgage payments and other expenses that become more difficult to pay with the addition of medical bills. It started when founder and CEO, Paul Isenberg, was affected by cancer when his wife, Nicole, was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while nine months pregnant. Nicole’s fight against cancer ended in 2003 but her legacy lives on through the families who have been helped through Bringing Hope Home. Since 2008,  over 3,300 local families have been given over $3.9 million dollars in assistance.
