The WORKPLACE Entry Level Job Fair is scheduled for Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM and will be held at the Parkway Central Library, located at 1901 Vine Street. Our goal is to bring together local employers seeking a low-cost recruiting method and job seekers interested in entry-level positions in the Philadelphia area. We are working this year with our contacts at over 100 community agencies to bring well-prepared applicants to the event.

In this difficult economy helping people enter the workforce has added meaning. If your business is fortunate enough to need new employees, this event will be of mutual benefit to you and to the many people seeking the opportunity to work.

The WORKPLACE, the Free Library’s job and career information center, has been in operating since 1987, providing job seekers and career changers with a variety of employment related services including resume and cover letter assistance, career exploration and job search strategies. The WORKPLACE and other Free Library locations have over 20,000 contacts a year with local job seekers exploring a broad range of careers from home healthcare, to the arts, to business. We invite you to connect with this diverse pool of job seekers.
