The Philadelphia mayor’s race is now in the palm of your hands.

“There had to be a better way to reach out to voters and for voters to educate themselves on candidates,” Andre Del Valle said, founder of the new app, NutShell Politics.

NutShell Politics allows users to view Philadelphia candidates profiles, news, contact information and access to social media platforms. The La Salle University graduate believes this app is the future of campaigning.

“I think it is the future. Like everything we are in a day and age where we want everything immediately used right at the moment,” Del Valle said. “This app allows you to have all of that information in your finger tips.”

The NutShell Politics app has big plans after the May primary.

“We are starting it here first and hopefully by November 1st we can expand to New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Hopefully by the 2016 one this will be national,” Del Valle said.

NullShell Politics is free and can be downloaded on the Apple iTunes app store.
