Former Eagle Flying High in the Community with “The Dude Hates Cancer”

Jamaal Jackson, former Eagles center from 2003 to 2011 joined us live on the set – talking football ahead of the big showdown between the Eagles and the Chiefs. Jackson who played nine seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles talked about Donovan McNabb being honored and what he believes it will take for the Eagles to get another “W” under their wings.

And, he was thrilled to talk about his push and passion to help raise funds for blood cancers with the organization, The Dude Hates Cancer. The group sponsors an annual charity bowling event and give 100 – percent of the funds raised to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Helen Chung, Philadelphia chair of The Dude Hates Cancer event is a lymphoma survivor. The South Philly native was diagnosed with cancer back in 2007 and a couple of years after that became active with the organization.
