The schuylkill project is debuting a unique artistic expression along the banks of the river. Inspired by wildlife, nature, and excitement around the river, artist Paul Santoleri has spent months working on his masterpiece. After studying the location in the northwest corner of the river, Santoleri noticed the movements of fish in the water and patterns of flowers that he transformed into his artwork. With the use of both paint and mosaic pieces, he created a design to capture the essence of the area.

The trail is packed with bikers and runners alike from Philadelphia and suburban towns, and the mural provides another element to the beauty surrounding them. It’s an unexpected beauty that allows a passerby’s imagination to run wild.
