Meteorologist Adam Joseph graduated from Lyndon State College in May 2000. Adam’s first on air experience came in 1998 when he forecasted and anchored the weather on LSC-TV. Looking back, he laughs at his green performance, but cherishes the experience Lyndon was able to give him prior to achieving a degree. Adam found working in the admissions office as a campus tour guide helped break this shy Boston boy into the outspoken, confident man he is today. He left the northeast kingdom with a Bachelor of Science in 2000.
Adam started his career at WBOY-TV as the Chief Meteorologist in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Shortly after, 11 months to be exact, he landed a job with WSAZ-TV in Charleston-Huntington West Virginia where he worked as the weekend and eventually the weekday evening Meteorologist and weather feature reporter. It was there he received the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television. Adam won many awards for best meteorologist while at WSAZ. Four years later, he joined WPVI as the weekend Meteorologist in April of 2005. This is where he still forecasts the weather and now co-hosts the weekly entertainment show, FYI Philly.
Adam loves the balance of fulfilling a lifetime passion of weather and now tapping into the entertainment world. Adam now fills in on Good Morning America when needed, and was voted Philadelphia’s Best Meteorologist by Philadelphia Magazine in 2009.
Adam is strongly committed to making a difference in the community and is heavily involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
