David:
Tell us about the Stop and Drop Diet.

Liz:
Good morning David. It's probably the easiest most accessible diet I've ever done. No matter if you like to cook at home, shop at the supermarket in the frozen food aisle, or go out to eat...the stop and drop diet tells you to stop eating the unhealthy versions of the foods you love, and instead make the healthy choice for that very same food. And if you follow the 21 day plan, you can lose up to five pounds in the first five days and about a dozen pounds over the course of three weeks, just by making simple swaps.

David:
Explain the stop and drop snacks. We all love snacks, right?

Liz:
Right well I am an ice cream gal, so every night I try to have an ice cream sandwich or a bowl of ice cream. So instead of eating klondike bars, I'm stocked up on skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. That's a difference of 150 calories. Same when I go out for coffee. I avoid au bon pains blueberry muffins, and I'll choose, let's say, at Cozi, the cranberry scone, and that's a difference of 140 calories. So you can see throughout the day, when you shave those calories off it makes a big difference.

David:
Liz where can we go for more information.

Liz:
The book is available wherever books are sold, but you can also go to stopanddropdiet.com where you can buy the book, as well as a 21 day video course, where you get daily videos from me, motivation, downloadable PDF's of the meals, as well as quizzes and interactive worksheets.

David:
Liz, thanks for your time this morning, talking about the stop and drop diet.
