The New Jersey Salvation Army is reporting a 288% increase in need for food assistance over the past year. Most of this need comes after loss of jobs and income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Atlantic City is one of the areas in the most need during this time.

The organization is offering meals and supplies baskets for individuals and families who are struggling.
