Pope Francis merchandise is all over the city but one Narberth, Pennsylvania native is hoping her idea is the next best thing since sliced bread. Debby Fireman, owner of Fireworks Marketing is spreading her creativity for the arrival of Pope Francis with her creation of the Pope toaster.
“I’ve been giving toasters to my clients for years with their logo on it saying a toast to working with you this year. And then when I heard the Pope was coming I thought would it be great to have the Pope’s imagine on toast and to be able to toast the pope literally and figuratively,” Fireman said, owner of Fireworks Marketing.
The toaster comes with two interchangeable plates, one of the Pope's face and the other with the saying spread the love.
“People have been making toast forever. This is a very different kind of toast. Imagine if you can out two pieces of bread into your toaster and all of a sudden it has an image of the Pope on it and or the word spread the love. It just brings a little joy to your day and it is a little bit of a miracle,” Fireman said.
