Home to some of the nation’s biggest outdoor concerts, Philadelphia is rethinking measures on how to make its headliners more family-friendly.
Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj and The Roots took to the stage during this year’s Wawa Welcome America concert. Known as the “largest free concert in America” people from all over the nation come to the City of Brotherly Love for the event. This year attendees might have heard a few expletives used during performances, while those at home watching television were left in the dark as the broadcasting-station did its best to screen the foul language.
Now, just hours away from the Budweiser Made in America festival organizers and local city officials say they are doing what they can to reassure foul language will not be heard.
