‘Black Devils’ all African-American military unit exhibit on display now

The Black Devils was the only all African-American unit in the entire United States military, with all black officers and soldiers.

Dr. Jeff Gusky discovered the only surviving trace of the unit from World War I in France, and he joined us to talk more about the group.

An exhibit on the Black Devils is on display now at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C.
