3.1 magnitude earthquake recorded in Monmouth County

The United States Geological Survey is reporting a 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit Monmouth County, NJ early this morning.

According to the USGS, the epicenter is around Freehold.

Some on social media say it was felt as far away as Brooklyn, New York.

So far there have been no reports of any damage.
