These leprechauns brought the luck of the Irish at the 31st Annual Leprechaun Run to benefit the Special Olympics of PA- Philadelphia! The weather was the nicest it’s been in years for this run, and the music was just as great! In addition to classic rock from 102.9 MGK, Irish dancers performed to traditional music and set the pace for the start of the run.  Presenting sponsor, TMNA Services, was honored for their incredible $10,000 donation to SOPA Philly, and so were the fastest runners for each age group! Medals were awarded for both male and female runners with the best times. And as always, all proceeds of The Leprechaun Run go to the Special Olympics athletes of Philadelphia.

It is so important to contribute to the Leprechaun Run and all events that benefit the Special Olympics, since competing as an athlete can cost up to $236 a year. In addition to competing, money raised can contribute to health screenings for new athletes, provide opportunities to travel to national events, and cover training and equipment costs for certain sports.
