Looking for a gallery that has  some local art? Bluestone Fine Art Gallery is pleased to present to you Jay McClellan’s The Life Patterns of a Dog. After dealing with a loss in his life, a friend of McClellan’s suggested he started to paint work that wasn’t so sad.  He decided to paint his dog and from there his collection took off. The Life Patterns of a Dog is about the emotion of a dog and how the dog reacts in peoples lives.  The Exhibition consists of paintings with bold colors and patterns as well as cut out pieces.

McClellan worked in the graphic design industry for over ten years before going back to school to study fine arts. His paintings have been exhibited nationally and are held in private collections, including famous baseball player, Chase Utley. The work of art McClellan creates has made him the winner of many awards, such as Honorable Mention at the 45th Annual Delta Exhibition.

The Life Patterns of a Dog exhibition gives McClellan the opportunity to finally display his larger work in a group. This exhibition was a year in the making. Bluestone Fine Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Make sure you check out the exhibition before it ends on September 27, 2013. Jay McClellan also does commission work and smaller canvas sizes if you are interested in having a painting of your dog go to or purchase his paintings on
