More road rage during the pandemic?

Several states across the country are reporting a sharp increase in road rage.

Local police departments say they’ve seen a similar trend during the pandemic as people have become more stressed out and tensions have flared more easily.

There’s no national statistics on road rage, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates road rage led to 500 deaths in 2019.
