Eagles Connor Barwin raises $170K for South Philly Park-140624--5

Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin and his Make The World Better (MTWB) Foundation put on a benefit concert at Union Transfer to raise money for the Ralph Brooks revitalization project. Headlining the show was Philadelphia’s own Kurt Vile with preformances by The Violators, The Tontons and The Districts. The concert itself raised $85,000 which MTWM has promised to match making the grand total raised about $170,000. The much needed upgrades to the park will include a new basketball court, an urban farm, a tot-lot and much more.
