  • Philadelphia Announces Plan to Build New Soccer Pitches Across the City

    The Philadelphia Union Foundation and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association have partnered with the Philadelphia Rebuild Division to build 15 mini-pitches and two signature fields in the city. The organizations announced the project in a press conference yesterday. A combined investment of $1 million will be put towards creating the spaces to help grow the sport of soccer across the region. The fields are set to be built within the next five years.
