Khiree Stewart is a reporter and fill-in anchor for PHL 17 Morning News. You can watch his live reports every weekday morning.

Khiree joined PHL 17 in January 2017 and is excited to live in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Prior to joining PHL 17, Stewart spent nearly two years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia. Before that, Stewart was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Khiree has also worked in radio.

Khiree earned his bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He minored in business.

When you’re not seeing Khiree on television, he likes going to events around the Delaware Valley and exploring different restaurants.

  • Rocky statue closing to visitors for at least two weeks

      On Tuesday, the area surrounding the Rocky statue in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum will be closed for two weeks for renovations to the grounds around it.   • Arrests continue in Manchester terror bombing

      Seven people have been arrested in connection with the deadly attack an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. The attack killed 22 people and injured more than 100 others. The New York Times published photos of what they said are the pieces of the backpack, detonator, battery, and shrapnel used in the attack. Salman Abedi, 22, has been identified as the suicide bomber.       The whole thing happened around Noon on Thursday. Parts of it were caught on camera. The driver of the car, a red Honda sedan, drove in the wrong direction, before hopping a curb and plowing through several crowds in busy Times Square.
