Jason knew from a very early age what he wanted to do with his life. “My goal…really, my dream since I was a little kid…was to be a broadcaster. I was always fascinated by radio and TV. This isn’t just my job. It’s truly my passion.” Jason is a lifelong Philadelphian and has been in broadcasting in this market since 1992. In fact, this is his second tour of duty here at Channel 17. Jason was a fill in weather guy for “WB17 News at 10” from 2000-2002. He has also done weather for WFMZ in Allentown, and been a traffic reporter for 6ABC Action News, as well as Tango Traffic. Jason began in radio, having worked full-time at the old B101 from 1994 – 2006. He also worked for 95.7 BEN-FM, Sportsradio WIP, and various stations in New Jersey. These days, Jason is back at 101.1 FM, now known as “More FM”, every Sunday morning from 6-9AM. Jason is a three-time Philadelphia AIR Award winner for his work on the radio. Having an appreciation for the history of broadcasting, Jason loves being a part of the news team at PHL17, a station with such a rich and storied history in Philadelphia. Jason’s upbeat attitude and witty jokes (well…HE thinks they are witty) will add sunshine to your mornings.
