The 2014 Philly Auto show has brought 700 vehicles from 40 manufacturers together in one warehouse and on top of that there are 9 unique ride and drive opportunities for attendees. I chose the most exciting of the bunch – “Camp Jeep.” The expedited summer session had just one main event – riding a Jeep Wrangler through an all-terrain course. Scratch that, it was MORE than all-terrain. One section of the route had us going over steep ramps, over whole logs and through all sorts of other obstacles.

“All we need is a couple dinosaurs to come over head,” my driver suggested. What an adventure!

There was plenty else to explore including a car valued over $1 million and vehicles that run on natural gas. With several hundreds of cars to choose from, it’s hard not to imagine yourself in one of them! Take a look.

Philadelphia Auto Show takes place  Saturday, February 8 – Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia PA 19107.  www.phillyautoshow.com
