“The bigs have reported back that this has changed their life more than it has changed the kids life,” Marcus Allen, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania region, said. “[And] you don’t have to be a doctor or a lawyer, you don’t have to be extremely wealthy… you just have to bring something to the table to give a kid.”

The Big Brothers Big Sisters program pairs kids and teens in need of a mentor with individuals who are looking for a fulfilling relationship with a promising youth. Make 2014 your year to make a difference in someone’s life – become a “Big!”

“What better way to give back to kids who deserve a caring and compassionate adult in their lives?,” Allen asks.

‘Bigs’ and ‘Littles’ typically spend 3 years together, and there’s a great need for volunteers in the Delaware County area. Allen says there are about 1,500 youths on the waiting list, waiting for someone to take the time for them.
