Tawanda Jones, founder of Camden Sophisticated Sisters, was just fifteen years old when she became inspired to start a drill team in Camden New Jersey. Little did she know that years later her dream of enhancing the lives of other young people would grow into an organization that would help 4,000 children – many of whom have been seen on national networks, traveled across the United States and been in the midst of stars including Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson and Patti LaBelle.
