The Benjamin Franklin Museum Independence National Historical Park is re-opening to the public after a two year renovation project. The Grand Opening for the museum will be Friday, September 20, following a reception on September 19 organized by the Friends of Independence National Historical Park.
Dedicated to the life, times and legacy of the great Benjamin Franklin, the revitalized museum in the internationally acclaimed Franklin Court features personal artifacts, computer animations, interactive displays exploring Franklin’s life and a museum store stocked with books and other merchandise related to Franklin and colonial Philadelphia!
Entrance to the Benjamin Franklin Museum will require a $5 fee ($2 for children under 16). For more information, check out the museum’s website at www.nps.gove/indie
