The Philadelphia Union Foundation and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association have partnered with the Philadelphia Rebuild Division to build 15 mini-pitches and two signature fields in the city.

The organizations announced the project in a press conference yesterday.

A combined investment of $1 million will be put towards creating the spaces to help grow the sport of soccer across the region.

The fields are set to be built within the next five years.
