Philadelphia Environmental Groups Raise Awareness about Littering

Littering is a common problem in Philadelphia.

On Monday, the Litter Free Philly Coalition kicked off their campaign to promote the use of reusable bags.

Part of their mission is to get city lawmakers to pass a bill to encourage the use of re-useable bags and reduce the use of plastics.

PHL17’s Khiree Stewart spoke with organizers.
