Science After Hours Wizard School at The Franklin Institute

Who says science can’t be fun as an adult?

The Franklin Institute launched their Science After Hours program a few years ago to prove just that. Once a month, the museum hosts a 21+ event with themes varying from the science behind prohibition-era mischief in Speakeasy to potions and fantastic beasts at Wizard School. In addition to having access to all of the museum’s exhibits, they get to experience activities catered toward the specific theme, as well as cash bars, games, demonstrations, and more.

Wizard School is one of the most popular of the Science After Hours events, inviting Potterheads from all over the area to dress in their favorite wizard robes and learn the science behind the magic in the Wizarding World. Activities include science demonstrations based on various spells, live snakes, wandmaking, and more!
