Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Gravedigger’s Ball

If you’ve got a ballgown you’ve worn once that you’re dying to take out for another spin, you might want to check out Philadelphia’s swankiest masquerade event: Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Gravedigger’s Ball! Every year around Halloween, Laurel Hill Cemetery throws this lavish gala at a different venue in the city, and it’s their biggest fundraising event of the year.

This past year, Philadelphia’s Masonic Temple hosted the ball, and, being one of the most extravagant and historical buildings in the entire city, event planner Nick McAllister strongly believes that it is the coolest place that the ball has taken place thus far. The Gravedigger’s Ball has everything you’d expect at a fancy gala and more: live music, signature cocktails, great food, a harp player, a tarot card reader, a costume contest, and that’s just scratching the surface!
