LONGWOOD GARDENS, KENNETT SQUARE, PA — With more than 1,000 acres of breath-taking gardens, woods and landscapes Longwood Gardens is a wonderful place to visit at any time of year. However, a Longwood Christmas has become a holiday tradition to many who flock to see the stunning lights, Christmas trees and decorations displayed throughout the grounds. In this edition of Masters, Pros & Virtuosos, Weekend Philler meets Longwood Gardens’ very own Display Designer, Jim Sutton. Longwood Gardens has an impressive 124 decorated trees this holiday season, but that’s not even counting the four additional trees Jim decorated in his own home this year! For Jim, Christmas decorating is a year round process as he plans, preps and works with Longwood Gardens staff on the Christmas design for the next year (not to mention designing seasonal displays for the spring, summer and fall in the meantime. He’s a busy guy!)

Take in all the beautiful scenery and the fascinating details of what it takes to create such spectacular Christmas displays year after year.

Don’t miss this segment and more in our Christmas edition of Weekend Philler, airing Christmas Eve at 11:30PM on PHL17.
