On In Focus with host, Jennifer Lewis-Hall, we take a closer look at the inception and meaning of World AIDS Day and its significance nearly three decades after it began. Helen Fitzpatrick, City of Philadelphia Director of LGBT Affairs and Sarah DeLaurentis, Action Wellness Director of Development & Communications join us to discuss AIDS and HIV Awareness . Also joining is Sue Daugherty, Manna CEO and J. Nathan Bazzel, part of the Citizen’s Advisory Board for The Wistar Institute.  We also talk with the nonprofits that join us regarding their missions then and now. And, we learn more about a significant research collaboration happening here in Philadelphia called “Beat AIDS.” In Focus airs Saturday mornings at 6:30 AM on PHL17.
