According to DEA there are 129 drug overdose deaths per day. Sixty-one percent of those deaths they say are pharmaceutical opioid – or heroin related. Gary Tuggle, DEA Special Agent In Charge of the Philadelphia Field Division, shares the latest information on drug related overdose deaths across Pennsylvania in 2015. And he gives facts on the epidemic including how the United States, while only 5-percent of the world’s population, consumes 99% of the hydrocodone produced.
