Phillies to giveaway Harry Kalas replica statue

Phillies continue their home stand this weekend against the St. Louis Cardinals, Tomorrow night the Phillies will be giving away a replica statue of the Hall of fame broadcaster and Phillies legend, Harry Kalas. All fans in attendance will receive the giveaway. PHL17's David Grzybowski sat down with director of fun and games from the Philadelphia Phillies, John Brazer to discuss Saturdays events.

Saturday August 20th at Citizens Bank Park

Toyota Harry Kalas Replica Statue for all fans on Saturday, modeled after the Harry Kalas Statue on the Main Concourse behind Section 140.

  • Kane Kalas, Harry’s youngest son, will sing the National Anthem.
  • The family of the late Larry Nolan, who created the fan-funded statue for the ballpark and passed away suddenly in 2013, will be at the game as well.

Phillies Wives Save a Pet at the Park benefitting the PSPCA

  • Pet supply collection at all gates to help pets in need.
  • At First Base Plaza: Pets will be up for adoption  plus, Phillies Charities silent auction with signed, new and game-used items … and Mystery Ball sale, all benefiting the PSPCA. Fans can also purchase 50/50 raffle, part of proceeds will also benefit the PSPCA. Be on the lookout for dogs as well with their human friends watching the game on the “wooftop.”
