PHILADELPHIA, PA - Flying tempers led to flying fists and food Friday night at a Northeast Philadelphia Wawa and that fight was caught on camera.

The incident occurred at the Wawa on Torresdale Avenue and Levick Street.

In the video posted to Facebook, an unknown family can be seen cursing and attacking a Wawa customer. Witnesses said the family was trying to “beat up” a female employee at the Torresdale location but when a customer stepped in to defend her, the family turned their attention to him.

It was uploaded to Facebook and has already gained over 530,000 views.

After assaulting the customer who steps in to defend the Wawa employee, the family eventually gets into a large van outside and the video ends.

Police are now asking anyone who may have additional information or videos to send them their way as it could aid in their investigation.

Authorities with the Philadelphia Police Department say Northeast Detectives are actively investigating vandalism in the store and the assault on the customer.
