It’s been an annual event here in Philadelphia since 1953 as today over 100 colleges and universities from around the United States and Canada will compete in the 78th annual Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River.

The Dad Vail Regatta takes place on an Olympics length course that ends at the grand stand, which about two miles north of boathouse row.  Parking on Kelly Drive will be limited and most vehicles will be directed to park in Fairmount park. Shuttles will also be available from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to the race areas.
