On “In Focus” with host Jennifer Lewis-Hall, we focus on autism – reportedly affecting 1 in 68 children. Statistics say it is the fastest growing developmental disability with an average seventeen percent growth rate per year. We speak with advocates for people who are living with Autism, a complex developmental disability. And, we discuss the staggering statistics surrounding Autism, what is new and what is needed to further help those living with Autism and what support and services families can find in the Delaware Valley. Jennifer’s guest include the vice president of the Autism Society of Greater Philadelphia, Ira Fingles. Two mothers who have children living with autism join us to tell their story and what they are doing to support their own children. They are Peggy Wilson and Sue Tuckerman. And, this edition of “In Focus” also features Terri Matthews, founder and CEO of Jaden’s Voice, a nonprofit helping those in our community with resources and services.  “In Focus” is broadcast Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to Noon on PHL17.
