The iconic Love Park sculpture will be removed from JFK Plaza around 10am today. The sign will be located outside of City Hall in Dilworth Plaza temporarily during the Love Park renovations.

The construction budget for the new Love Park is close to 16.5 million dollars designed by Hargreaves Associates. 3.2 million dollars of that money will go towards the new Fairmount Park welcome center.

The new features for the park will include the Love Park sculpture, a lawn area, gardens, a new fountain and additional concession areas. The timetable for this remodel of the park is expected to be finished in spring of 2017.
