Janet “Aunt Viv” Hubert Responds to Jada Pinkett Smith’s Boycott of the Oscars

Filmmaker Spike Lee and actress Jada Pinkett Smith posted separate messages Monday saying they would not be attending the February 28 Oscars ceremony, criticizing an all-white slate of major nominees that was announced Thursday for the second year in a row.

Later that day, actress Janet Hubert that played “Aunt Vivian” on the “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” with Will Smith released her own video in response to what Jada Pinkett Smith had to say.
