Jennifer Lewis-Hall:

Each year shape magazine has what they call their "beauty awards".  Our Jason Lee spoke to Shape Magazine's Cheryl Kramer Kaye to find out the winners.

Jason Lee: Good morning. It is the Shape Magazine Beauty Awards. Tell us about them.
Cheryl Kramer Kaye: This is our most exciting issue of the year. October is filled with great stuff and so many great winners. I got to tell you about them. The winner...are you ready... for the best makeup remover... Simple Skincare Micellar makeup remover wipes. Now these little towelettes are filled with what is called Micell cleansing bubbles. Which attract dirt, oil, and makeup and gently pull them away from your skin. And the wipes are formulated with triple purified water which minimized irritation. It has skin loving ingredients like vitamins like B3 and vitamin C. I carry these in my purse with me all the time, and you can find them at drugstores for  just $5.99.
Jason Lee: Sounds good what else do you have.
Cheryl Kramer Kaye: Well for the best lip balm, it is everybody's favorite, Burt's Bees. But now the have a squeezable beeswax lip balm. I have always been a Burt's balm girl and this new squeezable formula has everything I love about the original. Beeswax to protect, vitamin E to moisturize, peppermint oil for that little tingle that you get. But the new formula has a thinner texture and it also allows for a more precise application. And it is $4.00 at drugstores.
Jason Lee: Ok it looks like I see some hair products on that table there. Tell us about them.
Cheryl Kramer Kaye: Yes I've got the best shampoo and let me tell you we have tried quite a few. The winner is Suave Professional's Sea Mineral fusion body shampoo. I mean really we washed our hair and wow I have never been so clean. But this one was the undisputed winner. It made our hair super soft without weighing it down. Our department had a lot of bounce and because this has no silicone in it. But it does have these minerals from the sea the boost your volume. There is a whole line of sea mineral hair products and they are each just $5.00 at Walmart and you really get that salon quality.
Jason Lee: Alright Cheryl, well where are we going for more information.
Cheryl Kramer Kaye: Well you can go to shape.com while your boss is not looking or you can pick up a copy of Shape magazine at your newsstand.
Jason Lee: Sounds good Cheryl Kramer Kaye thanks so much for joining us we appreciate it.
Cheryl Kramer Kaye: Thanks for much for having me.
