Jason Lee:
Katie good morning. I'm the dad of a couple of high tech kids. What accessories should they have?

Katie Linendoll:
I've got you hooked up this morning. Let me tell you.

First up let's start in the world of something that's brand new. This is k2 from iHome's Kineta Series and it's the world's first Bluetooth enabled radio. It actually has a pop out battery back so it can also keep your gadgets charged throughout the day. It's neat because yes you can stream that music wirelessly to the speaker, you can take and make calls with the built in micro speaker phone capability and like I said you can pop out that little gadget there for mobile charging.

Also love this. All of us probably use one of these throughout the day. This is from Sandisk and it is a flash drive and you're probably like what the heck is so awesome about that? It's actually wireless now. You don't even have to pop it into a USB port. It'll actually connect wirelessly to smart phones, tablets and computers to transfer all of your files.

And then I know Jason you said you're a dad so you know all about Legos. I'm a huge Lego fan and this is one of my favorite lines. This is Mindstorms and it gets kids interested in robotics and engineering at a early age. You can build 17 different robots just like this mohawk-sporting humaniod. Pretty awesome.

And then for those of us that like to stay caffeinated, make the perfect cup of coffee in less than a minute. This is a Diala Brew model from icoffee. One hundred and forty bucks and it's worth the investment because it uses spin brew technology to get inside those k-cups and spin and brew and steam to make sure you have a French-pressed tasting coffee. Perfect every time. And I love that it comes with a complimentary, reusable, eco-friendly brewing pod there. So very awesome from icoffee.

And last but not least I've got two more gadgets on the kids side. This is zipit bedding. My six year old niece is obsessed with this. She sees the commercial every time,. It's all in one zippered bedding. It's super easy to use. It's reversible. There's tons of different colors to choose from. Very cozy and it glows in the dark. It fits all different kinds of bedding sizes right around the mattresses. So Zipit bedding starting at $59.99.

And last but not least another reason why at least somebody thinks I'm awesome. My niece and nephew think I'm so cool because I got them a tablet. Kid safe friendly content on the LeapPad platinum. It's a seven inch tablet. Very cool because you can store up to 40,000 photos. Front and rear facing cameras. Super fast and they just came out with a magic card. These are little high tech cards that you can actually take a picture with and they come to life. So these characters from Teenage Mutan Ninja Turtles to Paw Patrol. They make learning fun and educational but you merge both this digital and physical world.

So something for everybody.

Jason Lee:
Tell you what Katie I think I want those Legos for myself. Forget my son I want them for me. Where can we go for more information?

Katie Linendoll:
Totally you can head on over to

Jason Lee:
Alright Katie great stuff. Thanks for being with us this morning. We appreciate it. And Eye Opener continues.
