Shopping for the right beauty products can be a daunting task. With hundreds of options lining store shelves, it`s easy to become overwhelmed by all of the options in sight. Our Jason Lee spoke to women's health magazine's beauty editor.
"Jill Good Morning. Tell us where we get started. "
"So Women's Health tested hundreds of beauty products for their awards this year, but it wasn't just about finding the best lipstick or the best hairspray, it was really about finding the best products for every one of life's social moments. Whether you're going to work, or the gym, or even a night out on the town. We had 74 winners in this year's awards, but today I'm just here to show you a few that we absolutely love. "
"So first off we have sunscreen. The most important thing that we tell our readers to do everyday is apply sunscreen rain or shine. Our pick for best facial sunscreen was La Roche Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum SPF 50. Now not only is this great because it has some protection, but it has a high potency antioxidant complex of vitamin c, vitamin e, and baicalin to further prevent those future fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and keep your skin looking younger longer."
"Next up we have hair. Now as women we do a lot of things to make our hair look gorgeous, flat ironing, curling irons, but unfortunately these things can be very damaging in the long run, so you want to nourish your hair with a daily shampoo and conditioner like Clear Scalp & Hair Active Damage Resist which is our daily shampoo and conditioner winner. This duo is great because it contains a nourishing, omega complex of vitamins that nourish your scalp and really help repair your hair and its shine and the combination smells amazing. They have a great scent."
"Of course moving on to deodorant now it's important to smell fresh all the time, but especially when you're at the gym right? So our pick was Degree Women dry spray in peach burst. This has a special motion sensor technology to actually work harder the harder that you work, and it lasts for up to 48 hours. So it's a great summer pick. And just speaking of fitness, Women's Health is actually partnering with celeb trainer Chris Powell for a Degree Get Moving Challenge that's kicking off on July first. It's a fitness challenge that you'll definitely want to checkout. "
"And then just some more make up picks we have are After Hours dramatic mascara, it's Cover Girl full lash bloom. It's great for that great fanned out, dramatic look. And our At Work shadow which is Physician's Formula shimmer strips, liner, and shadow in nude. Great for that daytime, smoky eye. "
"Alright ill real quick, where can we go for more information? "
"More info is at womenshealthmag.com or the June issue which is currently on newsstands. "
"Alright Jill Percia from Women's Health Magazine thanks a lot for being with us this morning, we appreciate it. And Eye Opener continues. "
