Auburn professor​ names newly discovered catfish for Star Wars character

Jonathan Armbruster, biological sciences professor and curator of fishes for the Auburn University has named a newly discovered species of catfish after his favorite Star Wars character, Greedo.

The “Peckoltia greedoi,” was found along the Gurupi River in Brazil and has giant eyes and bristles not unlike Greedo from the Star Wars film.
