Joey Howlett Jr. Saints Seafood Bisque

Ingredients :

  • Peeled shrimp
  • Scallops
  • Imt. Crabmeat
  • Imt. Lobstermeat
  • Baby Clams
  • Mussels
  • Tilapia
  • Half and Half
  • Heavy cream
  • Cream of tomato soup
  • Old Bay
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and PepperPut the half and half in a large pot add the heavy cream and a couple of cans of cream of tomato soup to color add the old bay, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste then you cooked the mussels in a garlic sauce when there are done remove mussel from shell and and the mussels and sauce to the soup cooking on low and stirring as you are adding the seafood simmer till all seafood is cooked best served if left in fridge overnight

Jokers Cream Corn Crab Chowder

Ingredients :

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 pint whole milk
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 2 cans Del Monte creamed corn
  • 1 can Del Monte whole kernel corn or frozen kernels
  • 16 ounces cooked lump crab meat

Heat a deep pot and add oil and butter. Add chopped vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add bay leaves and flour and cook for 2 minutes, again stirring. Stir in broth and milk and bring soup up to a bubble. Add crab meat and corn and cook another five minutes. Remove bay leaves and add salt and pepper to taste.
