Philadelphia Eagles players and mascot SWOOP visited patients on Monday, October 27th as part of the team’s annual Halloween party at CHOP. Eagles players dressed up in costumes, signed autographs and posed for pictures with children and their families.  In attendance were quarterbacks Mark Sanchez, GJ Kinne, running back Chris Polk and nose tackles Bennie Logan, Beau Allen.

Since its start in 1855 as the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to caring for children, CHOP has been the birthplace for many dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine. The hospital has fostered medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children’s lives
