Are you looking for a restaurant that makes you feel hip the moment you enter the door? Then look no further than Red Owl Tavern at Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. Rich wood framed by polished metals and accented by ambient lighting envelops you as you enjoy the bevy of gourmet treats. A raw juice bar, the freshest fish,  charcuterie & cheese and choice cuts of steak – it’s all here for you to enjoy.

Peter Van Allen and I sure enjoyed ourselves when we visited for Biz Bites. We certainly upped the cool factor a couple notches upon entering! They treated us to a pan-seared salmon, some superfood smoothies and some delicious corn and crab fritters with a spicy chipotle aioli.

Super chef Jorge Chicas has traveled the world looking for ways to stay authentic with his cuisine, and we certainly can attest to that! Take a look.

And be sure to check out Eye Opener, a different kind of morning show, weekdays from 6 to 8 a.m. only on PHL-17.
