Instead of hitting the junk food in the New Year, how about planning some super easy and healthy meals!
I got the skinny this morning on healthy meal planning for 2014 from Healthy Food Expert Sloan Harrison of Whole Foods Market – Callowhill. She made a salad with wheatberry, purple onion, tomatoes and spinach. And, we noshed on stuffed peppers with quinoa and cashews. These meals were quick and a snap to make.
Check out our video for all the details to make your meal planning healthy and easy. And here are a few tips:
1. Pick one day to prep meal basics
2. Pick 2 grains to have for the week
3. Chop veggies, seal, and refrigerate
4. Organize your fridge
5. Pull from fridge, cook, and enjoy!
