I wanted to start the New Year off with a fresh start to my workout routine, so I tried the Aquamotion class at Sweat Fitness in Center City. This was my second time working with trainer Holly Waters, who is just hands down amazing. Her aquamotion’s class is a series of cardio exercises in the gym’s salt water pool.
People use fun tools like noodles, paddles and boogie boards to get in shape. Waters says the class works every muscle of your body and the water is great for resistance. I could feel a great burn in my legs and arms.
Also the salt water pool is a healthier and more “green” alternative to chlorine. Waters says people really feel a difference in their hair and skin from the salt water. There are several other great classes people can try at the pool.
