Sweat Fitness Shares Top Fitness Trends For 2014

The New Year is around the corner, and if you’re like me, you are ready to “get it right, get tight!”  I got a great and thorough workout at Sweat Fitness in Center City with Holly Waters.  Waters says she caters each session to her clients goals and needs.  She says 2014 is the year for everyone to put themselves first and get in shape.

Waters encourages all her clients to first figure out how much time they have to dedicate to exercising.  She says for the New Year TRX training is big combined with cardio exercises which incorporate stretching.  She really put my strength to the test by having me do squats while holding a tire around my upper body at the same time.  Then I had to push a big construction block around a portion of the track and finish by running the rest of the way around the track.  Lastly, I tried some rope exercises which really strengthened my core and upper body.
