The day before Thanksgiving, Manayunk Brewing Company will donate 250 Dinner baskets to local families in need with their 7th annual Give Thanks program.

Each basket feeds a family of four with a complete Thanksgiving meal including turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread and pie. Everything included in the baskets are  made in house and consist of over 700lbs of turkey, 500lbs of potatoes, 700lb vegetables, 250 homemade pies for the donations.

The baskets were handpicked by non-profit organizations and given to locals. Manayunk Brewing Co. has teamed up with local non-profits such as Fresh Start Life Skills, Methodist Family Services, Achieve Ability and the Ludlow Elementary School.

From noon-3pm, the lobby and first floor of the restaurant will be flooded with baskets ready to be donated. There will be a line of people waiting outside to collect the baskets and distribute them to pre-assigned underprivileged families.
