This week on Music Beat Mike Adam sat down with American singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez the front man of Sublime.

Rome has a serious passion for writing music, he says he does most of his songwriting while on the road or in the studio.

Ramirez likes all types of music, but if he had to pick one it would definitely be rock. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin is one of his favorite singers, he loves how high he can hit notes and how low he can get.

When asked what song he wish he would of written, he said his good friend Bruno Mars song Locked out of heaven.
