The Philadelphia Zoo is going wild for their Wildlife Warriors summer camp! Kids come in for one week sessions to go behind the scenes to get up close with all of their favorite zoo animals. This is not your typical day at the zoo! At each session campers get two unique “special” experiences. These are far from what any of these campers have ever done before. They get to pet a tortoise, rhinoceros, or even feed a tiger. The fun doesn’t stop there! They also get to learn how conserving energy can have a positive impact on wildlife. They get to perform science experiments such as, climate change in a bottle and can even learn how to power their i-pod with a banana!

The kids not only learned about energy and animals, but they gained a new appreciation for wild life as well. The camp leaders believe that this program will make memories that will last a life time, and will be inspired to help save animals. For more information about the Wildlife Warriors camp visit
