Are you ready to ride for a good cause? Save the date for Tour De Cure June 1, 2013! Bikers will pedal to raise money for the American Diabetes Association, and I spoke with one rider who says the event is life changing.

First time biker Larry Lukin says that training for the race has improved his health and his fight with diabetes. Lukin has Type II Diabetes and says by joining ‘Team Red’, the national team for the American Diabetes Association, he’s found a healthier way to live. Lukin is participating in the race on his birthday and says giving back is the best present.

The proceeds support diabetics by supplying meters and other medical equipment.
